Open My Eyes - August Scripture Writing Plan

The August 2016 Scripture Writing Plan is here and the focus is on PEACE.

I started the Scripture Writing Bible study in July and I have loved it. OPEN MY EYES has truly "opened my eyes" to the wonderful things God is doing and speaking. I love Scripture Writing as it focuses me on The Word like no other study. I am able to write without distraction; paying attention as God speaks to my heart.

This August we are focusing on the Peace of God. Our world is being turned upside down with violence and strife. Our personal lives may be a constant of anxiety, busyness, and fear. But Our Lord says to us in John 16:33 to not be afraid because He has overcome the world.

A few people have asked what Bible I use for my Scripture Writing plan. I love bible journaling, but I will admit I am not that creative. That is why I love THE INSPIRE BIBLE. It has beautiful illustrations that you can color, space to jot down what God is showing you, and the NLT translation which is an easy-to-understand translation.
