Open My Eyes September Scripture Writing FOR KIDS!

In July I started a new type of Bible study (for me at least) that has completely changed how I read and study the Word of God. The OPEN MY EYES Bible Study is a form of Scripture writing.
Hand copying Scripture is simply writing out word-for-word passages of Scripture by hand. This practice is helping me to change the way I read and study God's Word.
In the past two months, I have seen families growing closer together in The Word as they study and write the Scriptures together using the OPEN MY EYES plan as a guide.
With the start of school right around the corner, I wanted to start a new series, "OPEN MY EYES: FOR KIDS". This new Bible Study will focus on children ages 4-10, maybe 12 depending on your child. I believe that students over the age of twelve can use the adult writing plans.
I started OPEN MY EYES For Kids because I firmly believe in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." I want my son to have a firm foundation in Christ even from a young age.
Here are a few ways I am using this Bible Study to "train up my son in the way he should go" . . .
I am going to use this as part of our homeschool curriculum. I am going to use it for handwriting practice.
Each day he will do his Scripture verse and draw a picture of the verse on top. (My son is six so you can adapt this plan for your child's age)
The kids plans are going to correlate with the adult OPEN MY EYES plan. This month, both the adult plan and kids plan will focus on Strength and Courage. I am going to use Scripture Writing during our morning devotional.
It is important that I emulate what I want my son to become. I want him to see me reading and studying God's Word. I want him to be able to talk to me about questions he has and the things God is showing him. I think it is important for us to do this plan together so that we can learn more about The Lord together.
