Hear My Voice . . . April Prayer Journal Prompts.

Have the last few months been a whirlwind to you? They have for me. I cannot tell you how important it is for me to focus on my prayer life during these crazy and busy seasons. 

I have turned to the Lord in prayer quite a bit this month. I have prayed for strength to handle all the late night working sessions. I have prayed for energy to keep up with all of my responsibilites. I have prayed for wisdom for my husband and I when making big decisions.

I have also thanked God for His blessings. I've thanked Him for who He is and for all He has done for us. I have worshipped His holiness and thanked him for His faithfulness. 

Pray is as much about thanking God for who He as it is for making our requests known to Him.

“Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice.” Psalm 55:17. 

I have been keeping a prayer journal for months now, and I am finding that it is a key to learning how to deepen my relationship with Jesus. The Lord desires a relationship with us. He wants us. Our time in prayer is a time to get to hear God's heart and voice.
