10 Bible Verses About Life.

When a musician wants to play a symphony, she looks at the sheet music for direction. Now imagine that your life is God’s Symphony; His masterpiece. (Ephesians 2:10) You are the musician playing the notes written by The Chief Musician. How do you know which notes to play? You spend time in prayer and praise seeking the Lord for direction and you read the Word of God.

His Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. (Psalm 119:105). Without the Word of God active in our lives, how can we know which path to take, which “notes” to play, and which “song” to sing? We need His Word which is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the people of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. - 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

- LIFE -

John 3:15-16

“ . . .that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

John 1:1-5

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

Psalm 16:8-11

“I have set the LORD always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure. For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see corruption.

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

Psalm 23:5-6

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”

Psalm 27:4-5

“One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple. For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock.”

Deuteronomy 30:19

“I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live . . .”.

Matthew 6:25-27

“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?”

Matthew 7:13-14

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

Psalm 90:12

“So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.”

Psalm 63:3-5

“Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.”
