The Ultimate Worship Playlist "Hillsong".
When I was fourteen years old, my mom wanted to keep me involved in church. Many of the teens we knew were leaving church, rebelling, and pulling away from family and loved ones. My Mom didn’t want that for me, and recommended we join our church Christmas Choir. Fast forward a year later, Mom and I were singing together on the worship team every Sunday at our church. Two year later, I was playing the piano in the band.By nineteen, I was leading worship and directing my own worship teams.
As I mentioned in the post about The Ultimate Grace-Filled Playlist, worship is very near and dear to my heart.
WHAT IS WORSHIP
To pour our love on Him, to acknowledge His majesty and power, to lift ourselves up as we lift Him up . . . that is worship. It isn’t about us. It is all about Him. I believe that worship is a lifestyle. It isn’t a song. It isn’t a service.
We have so polluted worship to believe that it is only something that happens on Sunday morning for a half hour . . . if that.
In David’s Tabernacle, worship was a 24 hour, seven day a week, 365 day a year communion with the Lord. There were teams of worshippers who would rotate in and out of the Tabernacle giving praise and thanksgiving to God. Their worship was a lifestyle.
Worship isn't about the thirty minutes of 2 fast songs and 3 slow songs we give to God on Sunday morning. That isn't called worship. That is more of a religious obligation.
Worship is when you fall to your knees and thank God for His goodness in the middle of the storms. Worship is when your prayer life becomes priority over Netflix. Worship is CONTINUAL conversation with the Father.

HILLSONG
When I started leading worship, Hillsong Music Australia was creating a new and original sound. Shout to the Lord was just hitting America, and I was immediately drawn to Darlene Zschech and the music of “Hillsong”. I have read all of her books, been to their services, and studied their music, writing, and style.
I learned so much not only about worship, but about The Word through Hillsong.
“When we worship Jesus, we declare His kingdom and announce His presence. When we worship, we come by grace through faith, bringing the voice of our hearts before heaven. When we worship, we dispel the darkness and take authority over principalities and powers. When we worship, we exalt Christ and His dominion over every situation and circumstance. When we worship, thanksgiving is our entry point, joy is our strength, and breakthrough is our inheritance. When we worship, demons tremble and angels join in. When we worship, kingdom dominion is established in our lives.” - Darlene Zschech
The music of Hillsong truly helped me to enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. (Psalm 100:4) I compiled this playlist of my favorite Hillsong Worship Songs (The Darlene Zschech Era LOL) to bring you into a place of worship with Jesus.
As you worship Him, I pray that you feel His love. I pray that your worry disappears in the light of His glorious grace. I pray that you come before His presence, and bless His name.
