The Ultimate "Give Thanks" Playlist

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, and Autumn is my favorite time of the year. I love the transition from the heat of summer to the crisp fall days. The smell of cinnamon constantly in the air, and pumpkin-spice-everything lining every nook and cranny of our local stores and markets. I love this season.

l love taking this beautiful season to thank the Lord for His gifts. This year, I have been blessed with a second chance at love. In August, I married the man GOD CHOSE for me, and I have been blessed beyond measure. I am thankful for the chance at a new start in life. I am thankful for a son who is a kind-hearted, smart, and happy boy. I am thankful that I get the opportunity to homeschool him, and bless him with a good education.

I am thankful for decisions made, and a chance at a new life with my new family.

I am thankful for what God has accomplished through The Felicity Bee this year. I am thankful for being able to launch THE QUEEN’S CIRCLE and meeting amazing ladies from around the world willing to reach deeper into all God has for them. I am thankful for this little place on the internet where I can share God’s word and bless others by this ministry.

If you have been reading A Symphony of Praise, you know, worship is very dear to my heart.

At the age of five I began playing the piano, and quickly found that worshipping the Lord with music is one of my greatest joys. Singing to the Lord while He sings over us. (Zephaniah 3:17) What could be greater? I have created a few Playlist's to encourage you to cultivate a relationship with Jesus through Worship and Praise. You can find playlist's on GRACE and WORSHIP, among others, here at The Felicity Bee.

This year, I created the ULTIMATE GIVE THANKS PLAYLIST to bring us to a place of worship, praise, and thankfulness.

Worship and praise go hand-in-hand with giving thanks. Psalm 100:4 says to enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. When we come before the Lord in worship and praise, we must first come through the place of Thanksgiving.

So many approach worship from a self-centered standpoint. If you really listen to the lyrics of many modern worship songs, they are often more I and ME centered than JESUS centered. In order to enter the courts of the Lord with praise . . . you must first enter through the gates of thanksgiving. We must begin to take our eyes off of US and OUR issues, and place them on HIM and His GREATNESS.

We approach the Lord giving thanks for who He is, what He has done, and what He has faithfully promised. We thank Him for the precious gift of giving us another day to worship His name. We thank Him for His mercies that are new every morning, (Lamentations 3:22-23) and His promises of yes and amen! (2 Corinthians 1:20)

This Season of Thanksgiving, give Him your worship and praise. Thank Him for the year He has given you, and thank Him for what He is about to do in your lives. Enter His gates with Thanksgiving and enter His courts with praise! Enjoy, dear friends.
